Around 1.7 million Australians have diabetes. On average, one in three of these people have some level of diabetic retinopathy.   Regular eye checks are key to detecting the early stages of diabetic retinopathy. But about half of all Australians with diabetes do not get the eye checks they need.   Associate Professor Lyndell Lim, leads the Clinical Trials Research at CERA.
