This astonishingly well researched  book by Peter Frankopan covers several continents and many centuries as it takes us along trade networks which connected the East and the West, and formed the backbone for goods and ideas to spread from the shores of the Mediterranean to the furthest reaches of Asia. Lot’s of great content here, so do check it out to learn more about the virtuosos which have shaped the cultures of our world.
