Instead of setting rigid “goals”, what is being cultivated in
you?  In today’s pause, grab a piece of
paper and some markers, as I lead you through drawing a tree. We will review
last year’s fruit we produced and look at the branches that needed to be lobbed
off. We will look towards 2024 as ways to firmly plant our roots into deep soil
and cultivate the values and virtues that come up for us.
“May you be rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17)…
like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and
whose leaf does not wither (Psalm 1).”
