Grace is receiving from God what we don't deserve. Pleasing God comes from faith and seeking a relationship with Him. Enoch's faith led to being taken by God. Ruth's care for her mother-in-law earned a reward. God rewards those who take refuge in Him. Faith is crucial, believing God exists and rewards seekers. Grace and rewards aren't contradictory; grace initiates and rewards result from using it. Grace mustn't be wasted. Our works reflect grace received. Jesus rewards faithful service. God serves us first. Seek rewards, motivated by love for God and the gospel.Hebrews 11:6 (ESV) And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
