Before believers in the West can begin to correctly perceive the relationship that God wants to have with them through the Spirit and by the Spirit, the entire subject of what the spirit means must be reframed.  We have this material, physical life as our main priority—and our actions on a daily basis testify to that, regardless of what we might want to pretend is our true reality….And until we really and truly begin to comprehend the priority of the spirit over the physical, then we will never ever be able to value our spirit to spirit connection to God as he intends for it to be, because we will still be living according to a physically-minded mindset.
