The No Kings protests are going to be a major advantage for the Democrats in the midterm elections. Those attending are exactly who you want as base voters — high-turnout, highly motivated elderly whites easily swayed by television. Yet the American Left will not look like this much longer. The stunning lack of young, non-white participants shows that the attempt to paint opposition to Trump as "patriotic" is a turnoff to emerging progressives. For them, America was not liberal from the beginning, but racist — and they want nothing but to plunder and destroy it.
