Witnessing the 9/11 attacks, Benjamin felt a call to action, joining the U.S. Army where he served as a sniper in the "Battle of Ramadi" during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2006 Benjamin was awarded the prestigious "Army Commendation Medal with Combat V" (extreme valor in combat. After his military service, he transitioned to policing in Allentown, Pennsylvania.


Following his retirement, Benjamin obtained a PhD in Organizational Psychologist. He now specializes in treating the First Responder and Veteran Community with battling mental health and PTSD.
