Every day leading up to Christmas we will be reading, studying, and reflecting on a chapter of the Gospel of Luke. There are twenty-four days leading up to Christmas and twenty-four Chapters in Luke. We are going to enter the celebration of the birth of Jesus with a full context of his life and ministry. My hope and prayer for each of us is that we fully experience a closeness to Jesus like never before. Luke 10 covers two massive topics.1. Jesus sends out missionaries to towns he would be traveling to and it shows them and us how to engage in culture in terms of doing mission work. 2. The popular story of Mary and Martha. It addresses not only if salvation is something we can earn but how we can assess where we are in our relationship with Jesus today.
