Ryan Kotrosa, a practicing and studying electrical engineer, goes into the roles, duties, and inspiration behind electrical engineering, while debunking several common misconceptions of the trade. In doing so, we touch on several topics including the benefits and hindrances between the ideas of rigorous experimentation and practice, versus inherited levels of genius in areas like engineering and mathematics. Overall it's best to take away the fact that you shouldn't be intimidated by practice, but should instead dive head first into what you enjoy and learn at your own pace.
