Listen "Susan Leahy"
Episode Synopsis
Tune in for a chat with Susan Leahy, MA, CSP — a dynamic and values-driven speaker, trainer, and coach who believes the meeting room is one of the most powerful spaces to shape culture and impact lives. As the founder of Robert's Rules Made Simple, since 2004 she has trained more than 10,000 boards and meeting chairs across North America to run meetings that are not just productive, but healthy. With a master's degree in behavioral science, Susan teaches that how we meet matters — because the tone and values we bring into the boardroom ripple out to the communities we serve. She specializes in coaching meeting chairs who run meetings that use Robert's Rules of Order. She helps her meeting chairs to tap into greater personal confidence as well as to up level their professional competence when chairing and leading meetings. The goal is order, respect, and healthy civil discourse. Married happily for 20 years and the mother of two teenagers, Susan has taken her lessons from the boardroom to the bedroom through Susan's Rules of Relationship Coaching and Training Experience, helping individuals and couples to bring order, consistency, love, and deeper intimacy into their most important relationships. Her energy is infectious, her message heartfelt, and her mission simple yet profound: bring more humanity, care, and values into every room you walk into—because meetings (personal and professional) shape lives.
