In every religion, as with every prophet, every day is a learning experience. Join Guest Speaker, Dr. Shaheda Mahomed for a personal reflection on continuous learning.
Dr. Shaheda Mahomed immigrated from South Africa to the United States in 2021 with her husband, Yousuf. They have one daughter, Yumna, who is currently studying in Mauritius for her medical degree.
Dr. Mahomed is an admitted attorney but has primarily worked in academia for the last 21 years. She has acquired a wide variety of skills while having served in many positions, including the Director of the Wits Law Clinic, Adjunct Professor, Dean, and then Executive Head of Academics. She has published and co-published several accredited articles in both national and international journals, as well as published various chapters in respective textbooks. Dr. Mahomed is the editor of Clinical Law in South Africa.
