LaVell McCullers grew up playing football and basketball and was a standout athlete at Aberdeen High School. Upon graduation (2014), LaVell attended Marist college, and played quarterback on the  schools football team.  Struggling to adjust to college life, LaVell moved 2500 miles across the country to play for City College of San Francisco.  The move paid off!  LaVell helped lead the team to a National Junior College Championship and received over 15 scholarship offers along the way. LaVell  would accept an offer from Prairie View A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Today, LaVell is the owner of Cross & Crown LLC, and author of The Recruiting Compass.
