Here's the second single from the upcoming EP by Lofty & jaackson!
New Again is a song that was created to innovate on something familiar. Drawing equally from jazz, funk and hip hop, this lofi groove incorporates heavy syncopation, a melodic bassline, sprawling piano chords and lush synth pads. New Again echoes many of the artist's inspirations, including Parliament/Funkadelic, J Dilla and Robert Glasper.
The EP is following the coming of age of a young musician, this second track happens a few years later in the early life of our musician as he's now in his teenage years and a student of music!
