Have you ever heard the phrase: "I don't believe that. It is just too good to be true"...? Decades and centuries of lying and deceiving one another has caused us humans to suffer trusting issues. When something is just too good, we tend to be heavily skeptical about it. Many of us as christians are struggling because this same mentality is being applied to our relationship with God. An Almighty, all-loving, merciful, omnipotent, omniscient God who forgives the terrible things I did and is willing to move forward with me as I nothing ever happened? That's just too good to be true, no?
