There is something so impossible, a camel will fit through the eye of a needle before it happens. Do you know what it is? Save yourself. “Come on,” we say. “That doesn’t sound so hard. I’m a pretty good person. I try my best…” In our sermon this Sunday, we heard about a young man who did just that. He thought he was a pretty good person. He claimed he always tried his best. And he walked away from Jesus sad and devastated. Why? It’s impossible to save yourself. Who then can be saved? Here’s Jesus answer: “What is impossible with man is possible with God” (Luke 18:27).
