The Bible tells us the truth about death. There are only two options for eternity. Here’s the first: “All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire” (Malachi 4:1). How does that sound? Awful! That’s why we need Jesus and his salvation. Through faith in Jesus, here’s the second option: “For you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in his rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves” (Malachi 4:2). What a promise! Even though it all seems dark, God’s sun will rise, and you will jump for joy.
