Listen "Christmas Day Sermon: “(Not a) Surprise!” – Galatians 4:4-7 – December 25, 2023"
Episode Synopsis
I bet the first Christmas didn’t go according to Mary’s plan. She suddenly had to give birth to her first child far away from home and place him in a manger. Surprise! That’s not the type of birth any mother would wish for. Yet, Jesus’ birth wasn’t a surprise to God. In fact, the Bible says, “When the set time had fully come, God sent his Son” (Galatians 4:4). What seems like a surprise to us is not a surprise to God. Instead, it’s all part of God’s perfect plan for his children. If God over thousands of years perfectly planned out every detail of your salvation, do you think he has a plan for your life? Of course he does! When you see that Jesus was born for you and then lived for you and died for you, you realize that you can trust God’s plan. In everything. No matter what. I hope you can listen to this Christmas Day sermon: “(Not a) Surprise!” Merry Christmas!
