Listen "Evolution and Why Exercise Is Essential, Not Optional"
Episode Synopsis
For most people, exercise is something they know is good for them, but don't have the time, motivation, or inclination to make it a priority. They just don't see it as being essential to them. However, research shows that exercise is, in fact, essential to our very existence as human beings. Professor Herman Pontzer of Duke University explains why exercise and all forms of physical activity are, indeed, essential to our brains, bodies, and social-emotional conditions.(Note: Due to a technical connection problem while recording this interview, every so often, a word is omitted from the audio.
