We discuss early life growing up in Florida (1:20) including the early pressure life presented playing the same position his father played in football. Eden explains what led to him committing to Howard University (12:20) and the fears he initially had as he wrestled with the reality of HBCU football. He gets into what the first few days were like when he stepped on campus (16:34) before getting into what it's been like having to carry the weight of a successful last name (18:05) and the deeper issue his struggles stem from as a black person (21:58). We then get into the reality of a student-athlete's mentality when trying to reach the highest level (26:47) and how he was able to see his life as something more than just football.
