For the next few episodes I will be reading essays and research articles I have written over the years to do some introspection of my own political attitudes.
I think the upcoming general election is giving many Americans a sense of hopelessness and dissatisfaction with American politics and I believe, in a democracy, that is completely our own fault. My hope is that this episode will spur some discussion and soul searching in my small community as we join with other Americans to right the ship.
