Unpolished but Called

Unpolished but Called

Por: Kathrin Shaffer
Faith isn't neat or tidy - it's messy, loud, awkward, and sometimes sweaty (hello, menopause). I'm Kathrin Shaffer - writer, late-to-faith Christian, retail worker, and mom of two adult kids with disabilities. I came to Jesus at 45, which means I don't have a "storybook" testimony...but I do have Walmart checkout lines, poutine cravings, night shift prayers, and a whole lot of grace.

In Unpolished but Called, we'll laugh, stumble, and wrestle with what it means to follow Jesus in real life: in grocery aisles, on Facebook, at work, and in families that don't look "picture-perfect." If you've ever felt too messy, too late, or too unqualified for God to use - you belong here.

Pull up a chair, grab your coffee (or steeped tea), and join me for honest, hopeful conversations about living holy-ish in an ordinary world.

Want to go deeper? My books - like Christian Ethics: Right-ish and Beauty for Ashes - are available on Amazon or at kathrinshaffer.com.

Because the truth is: you don't have to be polished to be called.
