Frustrated at the lack of television opportunities for diverse talent on British television, Dhanny set up Big Deal Films with £200 to serve the audiences with wider perspectives and talent. Fast forward four years, Big Deal is the UK’s leading minority led multi-genre independent production company producing Documentaries, Drama’s and Comedy across the major platforms including BBC One, The One Show, BBC Three, ITV2, Channel 4, CBBC and Sky and is a big champion of diverse voices and talent.
