Listen "Will the Real Lauren Wright Please Stand Up"
Episode Synopsis
It is not uncommon for athletes to question themselves and feel as though what they are doing is not good enough. When the feeling that we are not good enough is pervasive and results in us feeling as though we are an imposter and that someone will find us out it is called imposter syndrome. Challenging the thought that we don’t belong is vital for believing that we are enough and right where we are supposed to be. Lauren Wright, Assistant Director of Mental Health and Wellness at the University of Tennessee, joins us on Unit3d to talk about imposter syndrome and ways to combat the lies that come with it.
