Grief is a normal response to loss, and it is part of an emotional transition on the path to joy. It has been said that one commonality among all who grieve is the need for their grief to be witnessed. Showing up is how we can be a healing gift to someone in need. But what does showing up mean? Today we discussed helpful ideas and counsel when loved ones are grieving. Grief isn’t an expression of weakness or a lack of faith in God or His love. We testify that Christ is with you through your sorrows and your grief. We have felt Him through ours.
