During the month of September, I continue my special "Fabulous 50s" series with kick-butt women in their 50s who are sharing their gifts with the world and embracing who they are. This week I talk to Pam, a hilarious woman who spent a number of years on stage as a comedian and who helped other women get their chance in the spotlight as host of the showcase "Chicks Are Funny."  A near-death health scare changed her life. Now there is not a day that goes by without her hiking trails and enjoying nature. In fact, she's on her way to hiking her second Appalachian Peak this Fall.
