In this episode he talked about his uncle, who also inspired him from an early age. From them and other influencers he learned the importance of pouring into others, young pharmacists, and ministers. He shared some of his career challenges trying to affiliate with conservative pharmacy associations. Dr. Edloe accepted challenges though things were intimidating. With each challenge, he believes God had a purpose. Look at the broad picture, use challenges as learning experiences, and grow to help other people. He openly shared how he became the published author of “Restoring the Glory: Breathing New Life into the Rural Black Church.”  Dr. Leonard Edloe is a pharmacist, pastor, educator, and author. He is the Pastor of New Hope Fellowship and is a nationally recognized pharmacist. Upon graduating from the Howard University College of Pharmacy, Dr. Edloe joined his father at their small family-owned pharmacy in Richmond, He is the recipient of numerous awards from several pharmacy associations and is a Fellow of the American and the National Pharmacists Associations. He is the Past President of the Virginia Pharmacy Association and presently serves as a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy as well as an Adjunct Professor of Christian Ethics at the Leland Seminary School of Ministry.Dr. Edloe is a regular contributor to the Pastor’s Column of the Southside Sentinel. Dr. Edloe has made contributions to the health of the Greater Richmond Community and now devotes his life to full-time ministry.
