Send us a textIt is October, traditionally known as Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Elizabeth is the daughter of a breast cancer survivor and prevention has always been a goal for her when it comes to her breast health.  It is just recently she began to cultivate a more intimate relationship with her breasts.  In today's episode, Elizabeth and Abigail Hines, creatrix, found, owner of Bless Our Breasts, dive into the importance of cultivating a relationship with your breasts through massage and self-care practices that nourish and may prevent breast cancer and dis-ease in the breast tissue.  Breast cancer screening once a month is not the same as nurturing the breasts and preventive measures.  Through giving hundreds of breast massages over the years, Abigail's hands have become deeply intimate with the terrain of the breasts, her heart attuned to the many layers and patterns of ancestral and cultural story that live here. She has come to see how powerful and sacred this part of our body is.  She has come to see how much heaviness we can hold here, how much constraint has been placed here, and how disconnected we collectively are from these mountainous extensions of our hearts.She has come to see just how impactful and empowering it can be to reclaim this territory with our own hands.  She is passionate about sharing this wisdom on breast care so that women can live from a place of healthy and flowing connection to their breasts.
