During this seminar Filippo Spiga introduces Wilkes (http://www.hpc.cam.ac.uk/services/wilkes.html), the High Performance Computing GPU system operated by HPCS. Wilkes has been deployed November 2013 and he is currently one of the most powerful GPU cluster in the UK public sector. We will discuss the system, challenges in its management, programmability and last but not least what science it enables.
