Although today is the Feast of St. Therese, the Little Flower, there is nothing flowery about the Gospel we have for this feast day. At this stage of Luke’s account of Jesus journey to Jerusalem, Luke shows Jesus to be very frustrated and expecting much more of the crowds following him than they appear to be ready to offer.
