Episode Synopsis
An exile is an immigrant who is far from the comforts of their home. Dr. Alexander Chow examines the story of the Israelites exiled in Babylon and are told to make their home in this place; build their houses there, work in the city, raise their family, and seek the welfare (the Shalom) of Babylon. Dr. Chow stresses that no matter where we are placed, we need to seek justice, flourishment and completeness to the people in the land.
