Listen "90: In Cold Blood (1967) and Alpha Dog (2006)"
Episode Synopsis
Text Matt & Adam!#TrueCrime is this weeks theme. Truman Capote's book "In Cold Blood", caused quite a stir back in the 60's and the movie (1967) is a really good adaptation. Robert Blake is great as Perry, as he somehow makes us feel sympathy for killer who actually pulled the trigger. Nick Cassavete's "Alpha Dog" (2006) is the horrendous true story about bad parenting, stupid people and the needless death of a fifteen year old young man. Matt didn't like it very much, but Adam thought it is worth a view.Next, Actually, it's a western, with Kurasawa's "Yojimbo", (1961) and our first Indian film, "Sholay" (1975).Thanks for listening!Did we get something wrong?
