We agree. Not for the squeamish, but definitely worth seeing. "A Promising Young Woman" (2020) introduces us to women who exacts revenge for a friend. Not as dark as we hoped, but the film delivers with ending neither of us saw coming. Next up: Angels on Earth with Wim Wender's "Wings of Desire" (1987) and Kevin Smith's "Dogma" (1999).
