Text Matt & Adam!Old friends getting together. Matt has a weird feeling about seeing The Big Chill again. Is it the unlikeable yuppies? The cavalier attitude toward sex/fertilization/adultery? The ending? The fact that this is a movie about people realizing that they do not like each other? Maybe it's all of the above. Adam thought it did a good job slowly unrolling the relationship between the characters. They both agree that old republicans are not allowed to listen to Motown. Intimate Strangers features a great cast that feels like old friends. The banter and camera work made us feel like a fly on the wall. Matt left the movie with sadness (and hunger). Adam focused on the comedy and performances (41:30).Next week: The worst movie we paid money to see.
