Listen "A place for everything"
Episode Synopsis
A place for everything and everything in its place. This is the rule by which I try to live my life. It means that I can tell you exactly where things are in my house. This applies to the important stuff like keys, wallet, and passport but also the less important like Sellotape, hole punches, and scissors. So, on the rare occasions when something isn’t where I expect it to be panic sets in. If it’s not where it’s meant to be where on earth is it?
This was the case on the first Easter Sunday when the women went to the tomb to anoint Jesus’ body. They had seen where he was buried on Good Friday, and they knew for certain where he would be on Sunday. The place for a dead body is in the grave and dead bodies, as a rule, don’t move. But the tomb was empty. Jesus wasn’t where he was supposed to be, and for a few moments panic set in.
But there was a simple reason why he wasn’t in the tomb. As the perfect Son of God death could not hold him. He had walked out of the grave; and when we put our faith and trust in him so can we!
