This episode Head of Scholars House, Dr Michelle Barrett interviews 2021 Tuckwell Scholar, Jacob Gome.
Jacob is a fourth year ANU Bachelor of Philosophy-Science (Hons) student from Warrnambool in Victoria. He is majoring in Chemistry and currently undertaking his honours with the Preston Group at the Research School of Chemistry.
In 2023, he spent 12 weeks at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland and where there watched a stage of the Tour de France form the top of an alpine pass. He also ran the Marathon du Mont Blanc in Chamonix, as well as some sections of the world-famous Trail du Mont Blanc.
