Episode Synopsis

Edith Jorge-Tuñón has over a decade of political experience, ranging from overseeing the national
Coalitions program at the Republican National Committee during the 2018 midterm elections, to
directing national field efforts at the Koch Network’s LIBRE Initiative during the 2016 election
cycle. Formerly the Political Director for Governor Susana Martinez’s re-election
campaign, Edith built a grassroots program that helped win the New Mexico statehouse for the
first time in over 50 years. Prior to that, she helped New Jersey Governor Chris Christie secure the
Hispanic vote during his re-election campaign by 51%, and in 2020 led the Political Department
at the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) in holding 59 legislative chambers across
the nation and picking up two more during a half a billion-dollar redistricting cycle. Edith is
currently the Deputy Executive Director at the RSLC; the only national organization committed to
electing republicans at the state level.
