This episode features Matt Cable sharing his story of surviving cancer not once, but twice. He currently has a thriving athletic career in addition to having a beautiful family even after he and his wife were told by medical professionals having children was improbable. The reoccurring theme throughout this episode is that Matt undoubtedly beats the odds time and time again. Matt is a retired USAF veteran, a member of the grid league Tampa Bay Brigade, and appeared on NBC's Titan Games with The Rock.

The romantic in me loved hearing the story of how Matt and Ensley met (she is also a cancer survivor!), how she stayed by his side through his second cancer journey while battling her own and has never left his side. Her story is also one of selflessness, grit, and overcoming any and all obstacles.
