Listen "Pentecost 20 -- Trust Like a Child -- Mark 10:2-16 -- October 10, 2021"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textIn today's sermon, Pastor Cherney helps us decipher between different ways we choose to listen to God. Are we listening to him for permission to continue in our ways? Or are we listening to him to improve our relationship with him and truly learn from him? Jesus tackles the tough issue of divorce as the Pharisees came to him with questions. Were they looking for permission to divorce, or did they really want to honor marriage as God created it? We hope you learn something new from today's sermon, and, as always, we'd love to see you in person! He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
