In David's supplication to God to preserve him, he demonstrates where his trust and hope is found. David's plea is not in vain, and it is a trust that looks forward to the promises of God to deliver him. Christ sits at the right hand of the father where there are pleasures forevermore. So with that, the charge is this: Entrust yourself to the Lord, Take delight in him and in his instruction. Be content in the one who holds your lot, knowing that our eternal joy, treasure and inheritance is found in Christ.
