Since the dawn of time man has been drawn to the wilderness. He is driven by an innate desire to scale the heights, discover new lands, expand the reach of human existence, and prove their worth. The story of the Bible chronicles countless heroes including Jesus himself that fled to the wilderness to be tested and for rest and recuperation. God built in each of us a desire to be an explorer in one capacity or another.
