In this episode, we feature Maria Dadgar, the Executive Director of the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona (ITCA).
Though originally from the East Coast, Maria has been working with ITCA for the past 8 years. She shares ITCA's focus on heath, research, and environmental quality for Tribal communities in the state of Arizona. Besides ITCA, Maria also works with the Inter Tribal Association of Arizona, a separate organization that helps give Tribal Nations a collective voice. There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes, and we are proud to showcase Maria’s work on the podcast!
