Trey challenges listeners to examine what they are storing in their hearts by asking: "Is everything I've allowed into my heart truly good for me?" This self-examination is essential because, as Scripture warns, “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick” (Jeremiah 17:9). Jesus also teaches in Matthew 15:17–20 that the heart is the source of evil thoughts and behaviors such as murder, adultery, and slander. The core message is this: what you allow into your heart shapes your character. If you desire and value impure things, the outcome will be destructive behaviors and a damaged character. Guarding and purifying your heart is essential because it ultimately determines the direction of your life.
