On this podcast episode, Yemi and Philia discuss the importance of wise counsel (Proverbs 12:20/ 12:25/ 14:13-14/ 16:5/ 16:23-24/ 18:12/ 19:3 and 20:5). Through these Proverbs, we are taught the importance of wise counsel and how to discern sound wisdom. We learn that not only is it important to have a circle we seek counsel from others, but it is important to discern those who are not giving us wise counsel. As others pour into us and give us good advice, so too should we be able to pour into others through the love and light of God. "The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And adds learning to his lips. Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones." (Proverbs 16:23-24 NKJV).
