The destruction and erosion of local culture is something that is experienced all over the world. When I saw this happening within my own family, I sent myself on a quest to try and find how I fit into the place I call home. Sussex is an area in which I have lived my entire life, and as far as my family tree goes back, a relative has always resided within the counites borders. 'We Wunt Be Druv' follows me on walks through the countryside, as I explore my past and the myths and legends that shaped it. This slow and thoughtful piece lets you listen close to the landscape, giving space for reflection on its deeply personal but universal story.
