Listen " Planning for Social Change"
Episode Synopsis
This is the first episode produced my Dr. Haddad's CI 6693 Theory, Policy, and Critical Issues in Social Studies Education. The class was subtitled "What is it to teach in the Trump era?" and welcomes students who are social studies teachers as well as any other interested teachers or individuals. In the episode Amy and Austin (both high school math teachers) talk about the three viewpoints of education and how these viewpoints can be applied to their classroom. They will also discuss what two math teachers are doing in a social studies class. They'll talk about that and how they plan on incorporating what they’ve learned so far into their classrooms this upcoming fall.
