Trailblazing is ageless. Meet Julia Toronczak, a young businesswoman who has a twin brother with Downs Syndrome. During her freshman year, she was appalled at how many students would ask her what Down syndrome was. It made her realize that there was not enough advocacy being done in the disability space. Without holding any resentment, she knew that something else needed to be done. And so she created her blog, Beyond the Waves, to educate and inspire others.
