Our guest on today’s podcast is none other than Dr. Peter Brukner. Peter is an Australian medical doctor who specializes in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Peter has worked as team doctor for The Liverpool Football Club, The Australian Olympic Team, The Australian Cricket Team, Collingwood and Melbourne Football Clubs and has a strong affiliation with the Melbourne University Blues Football Club and Powerhouse Men’s Hockey Club.
More recently, Peter has founded the non-for-profit initiative Sugarbyhalf and is the author of the popular book ‘A fat lot of good’. Peter is also the co-host of his own podcast titled “Brukie and Burgo” where, he and High Performance Guru Darren Burgess dive into the world of health and performance.
In part 2 of this 2 part series, Peter and Matt discuss the role of inflammation, the influence that nutrition can have on inflammation, and what we can learn about the importance of nutrition on managing the capacity to run.
