After a spate of burglaries at UH earlier this year plus violent episodes on a few college campuses nationwide - and despite the Hawaii state auditor's report and a proposal to the Honolulu Police Department to have off-duty officers patrol the campus - the question remains how campus security will protect UH Manoa, its students and faculty.
