On this episode, Dr. Jacob Dent, a practicing dentist of 16 years discusses how his son’s diagnosis of autism sparked his love for learning about the condition and motivated him to convert his office into a sensory-friendly office to aid him in treating children and adults with special needs. He explains the tremendous demand for dentists who are willing to work with special needs individuals. Dr. Dent also provides little known facts that could help us understand what causes behavioral issues and how to overcome them.
