While describing Descript is the most confusing thing, this tool is so incredibly intuitive and innovative it is definitely changing the game when it comes to audio and video podcasting. Descript uses a mix of AI transcription software and audio and video editing software to create a DAW where you can edit audio, video, and transcriptions in real-time. If none of that made sense, then you REALLY need to listen to this podcast. Put simpler, Descript allows users to make changes to audio or video podcast transcriptions and then immediately reflects the changes in the audio and/or video. What is even cooler is that it works the opposite way round as well. Thus, writers, audio, and visual teams can collaborate using one tool!
